You left heaven behind you,
Do you miss it? I know I do,
I miss the innocence and the glitter,
The sweetness of the clouds and the truth.

I miss my wings,
Yes,honey,I lost them too.
See,when you fell,
I jumped. I fell with you.

I just wish you'd take me in your embrace,
Hold me tight and never let me go
Your sinful lips on mine,
Send me the wind and I'll know.

I can feel

Sacrificial LambThere, an alter drenched with stains
Rusty and ancient
A lonely finger caressed smooth marble
A Crumbling ode to a lost Deity
There had long been an offering
To that thirsty Goddess
Only one, but the blood remained present for long after
Old and worn after centuries of time
And there was a poor lamb, led to the sparkling marble
Already starving and at the verge of collapse
And there the lamb was tied, to that alter
Left in the embrace of the Goddess
Where she slowly restored it to health and happiness
The lamb did not know through all of its glee, what was to come
The blade that rested across its throat
Waiting for the moment...

Plumes of DestinyAmong the mumbled plumes of destiny
We seek out a life of our own,
We strive to find ways to be,
And sometimes life stands against us.
The gentle timelessness of dust...
Upon window sills and tombs,
Cool air lingers without a breath,
Silent time passes from within us all.

And as Time eludes us,
Wholly with the passing confusions,
We drift aging and fully learning,
In the shadow of the past Royals.
As reasons scatter and fall like leaves in autumn
We ponder and sink in pensive depth,
The diverse connections we behold,
The family lines that spread like roots.

Among the mumbled plumes of destiny,
The great architect has greater

The Dreamer and the God (Prologue)

          The god-killer ran across fresh-fallen snow, dragging his prisoner behind.
          They came to a frozen stream and crossed, boots hammering the surface. The noise was loud and erratic, an intrusion into the silent watch of the trees that stood sentinel, armoured in snow. Once they'd reached the opposite bank the captor turned to his captive. A brief pause as they stared at one another, gasping for air.
          "You have to know this isn't going to work out." The ragged merchant

Shaman StrangerHe shared his secrets with the tribe
they all sat intensely around the fire at night
the cold of the air, danced all around them.
Secrets unleashed, summoned demons, reaping realms.

He told them of the plague and the medicines to cure.
They sat around in awe as the stories grew intense.
About demons and monsters, and battles defense.
And the beasts wore souls over their faces.
To bruise their senses over the ages.

They asked of his healings and how he survived.
His responces were vivid, and brought up through life.
Death surrounds vallys and mountains and seas.
Healing the monsters with souls for their beings.

Water from springs

Watcher of the NightHe waits in the shadows
Watching and learning
Trying to resist
His unconquerable yearning

An actor of rare disguise
Covering half-truths with unfinished lies
His plans twist and turn
Taking years for fruition
After which he disappears
A forgotten apparition

While lesser men succumb
To the beckoning temptation
He stands regardless
Steadfast by his station

Vigil of the darkness
Watcher of the night
Countless men have tried
To evade his inhuman sight

He is the sum of his fears
For he chooses what he wants to be
He has uncertainties, he has doubts
But is afraid intentionally

He tends the shades of the mighty
And the shadows

Monument to a Ruined ManI see you now.

The magnificent velvet and silk flags of your name
Now fester and rot in tatters.
The ornate gold and jewels, now dull and blackened with age,
Hang limply from the brittle, yellowing scaffolds
Of your admiring subjects, their mouths gaping open in one last,
Mocking cackle,
All loyalty long since disappeared.

And here you stand
Alone in the silence of your own undoing-
No longer a ruler, or even a man, but a shell-
The hands whose wizened palms I once worshipped
Have crumbled slowly into nothing.
Those lips, whose stately curve I once adored,
Now worn and cracked from centuries of smiling.

AvalonAvalon

Disaster struck upon the Earth
Chaos spread like a wildfire
And the humanity split
Turning on one another

Soon nothing was left but the bare dust of the burned
The virus spread and killed everyone
And in time the dead came back to life
Hunting the living and punishing them for their sins

The Armageddon came and we couldn't escape
The world fell in to the dust of destruction
With each day the living decay as the dead arise
With each moment the remains of humanity fade

The sun blazes over the dying lands
The dry rivers and burned fields
Only the road keeps on going forever
Only the road keeps us alive

The door of hellthe door is opened
I see the claws of the monster
he approaches the bed
his red eyes shine in the dark

this was not a legend
this story for frighten children was real
the monster is before me
I cry, I afraid

he catches my legs
I slip under the bed
the door of darkness opens slowly
I'm lost

Thorn

THORN

The blood has turned into dust
But in veins is still pouring lust
Even if my hands tremble, are numb
The whole skin is painted with plumb.

Day by day,trying to erase memories,
I feel like a criminal, destroying evidences
I may demolish or at least rebuilt that wall
Still remains...it does not change at all.

I need more thread for the reopened scar
How else would I manage to walk far?
And I will always have in addition behind
Something which still carries my mind.

Look to the Sun The sun is our protecter,
shields us from the dark
Though far away, it stands to say,
the Sun will always help

It says it's always there,
though sometimes hidden
Tells us stories of a promised land,
but we can't go with it

Says it will always be there,
says it will always shine
Says if we reach out our hands,
it will keep us alive

And we've never seen its lies,
never had any doubt
And when it's dark, we're alone
We look to the sun
but the sun is out

The End of ParadiseWe are in a paradise,
a paradise that will soon fall.
We all remember those bright days,
when we had no worry,
and we had no pain.
What will the future bring?
What will our lives become?

The throne stands alone.
The War remains unfought.
Cities are deserted.
Our breath comes out ragged.
Our breath comes out heavy.

The trees burn and turn to ash,
the stones break and shatter at our feet.
Spirits of rage rampage in the distance.
Spirits of fear stalk around ours souls.
The howling of the wolves has begun.
The cry of the bird is ringing out.
The end has begun.

Time is Not the CureTime is Not the Cure

I always told myself I would never fall in love. That all changed the day I met you.
I was so content to not even give you a chance for I knew very well that it would lead to my demise.
Despite my intentions, I eventually cast these feelings aside, letting love pour in and out of my heart.
You filled my life with joy, with reason, with perspective and eventually with a beautiful child.

I knew my life was only going to get better, but if I only knew I would be so wrong.

EmptyMy heart is a bottomless fjord
and deep beneath the waves
there is nothing but void.

The Timber HeartI walked along a winding path through wintry wood.
There were both evergreens and deciduous trees,
A heap of dilapidated skeletons with a lush thriving pine or spruce here and there
A dusting of snow coating the frosted pine needles
having sapped nutrition from the long-gone leaves of the withered trees.
The veins of the Earth, pumping life back into the soil.
I stopped, snow crunching beneath the weight of my footfalls,
and touched the rough bark of what was once a large oak cloaked in emerald.
I moved my hand along the flesh of the tree, closing my eyes, and
I could feel a faint pulsing reverberating through each and every molecule of the Oak's being.
Slowly, I felt as it faded away until it was none existent.
Whether it was the stinging, ravenous cold numbing my fingers as if they had been severed or-

had been buried there in the frozen hard ground.

WhisperI am wide awake when you whisper behind me.
I hear your sharp tone as you hiss your destructive incantations.
Every hushed word resonating through my head with a weight attached,
dragging me down into the deep chasms.
There's that terrible ache again in my stomach;
I am wide awake when you cut me with your knives.
I guess I was so busy watching my back,
that I forgot pay attention to what was in front.

New Year, New SkinTo think at the beginning of last year it was you and I

Periwinkles and black holes

Resting underneath suns as dark as coals

An arm signed by a razor

Caused by a heart covered in craters

A field of violet abyss

Swallowed by black amiss
